Do you hide your identity, meaning create a proxy company or something like that, so your name and address and personal details are not revealed when signing up for anything?

When does it make sense to hide personal info? Please list cases where applicable, and reason to hide info. Serious replies appreciated. Thanks.

If you get a good VPN, you can just connect and forget about it, you could be connected to your VPN for a month and you wouldn't even notice.
Then after that you can use proxies for added layer of security of additional identities.
