Is it safe to use bit.ly and post your direct affiliate link in video descriptions/comment spam?

Or will i get banned for doing this? I am using adscend media.

bit.ly doesn't hide the referrer. So, if your using a bit.ly link within your page (via an <a> link), then the referrer would still be in tact.
