Do you have a pet?

I for one believe that a person must have a pet. Having a pet is so awesome. When the whole world is bearing down upon you, the only one who stands by your side is your pet. A pet is the only person who doesn't give excuses when you feel like playing.
I have a female golden retriever. They are beautiful dogs. What pet do you have?

I heard golden retrievers don't really retrieve gold... A bit redundant imo...

I don't have any personal pets but the family has a couple cats, fish, guinea fowl and a horse. Not to mention the numerous kudu and jackals we see on the farm. Not really pets though ^^

Dogs are really great and they are the first thing that comes to your mind when you decide to buy a pet. At least, for me that is :D

That's really sad. I know the feeling. I actually had to 2 dogs and one died last year. He will always remember you and you should never forget him.
 
Golden Retrievers are awesome. my cousin have one and he is very intelligent. i don't own a pet right now but my favorite dog breed is the Rottweiler. I had one a few years back but.....

Passed away after 16 years? That's damn bad. That's like losing your own bro. Good that you have a new pet now but as a pet owner myself, I can say that you will never forget your dog :)

Not at the moment, having anything "worthwhile" in a condo would be a burden really.

But might get me a little Corgi or two after moving out to a house in a month or so.
 
I have a pet rock... Not much for companionship but at least I don't have to feed or clean up after it. I figure it is good for security as well. If someone messes with me I can bash them in the head with it.
 
Pets are the best! I love getting home from work and seeing my dog (shar pei) bark wildly. I mean honestly, he gets more excited to see me than my family and friends do.

Unfortunately, we just took him to the vet a few days ago and found out he has throat cancer.. He just started steroids. The vet says he has about 2 months....and it's really tough thinking about him leaving me.

But, I swear, I'm gonna make them the best two months of that dogs life because he has always been the best companion I've ever had!
