Do You Hate Water?

I don't like to drink much water . but as i grow old i know is importance so i drink more nowadays

if you drink water MAKE SURE THE FLUORINE IS FILTERED OUT the government puts fluorine in the water to make you more docile. Hitler used fluorine to control his people.

I use to drink mostly sodas but a couple of months ago I started drinking 8 cups of water at least a day because I know its healthier, had heard it can help clear up acne, and because soda has acid that leads to tooth decay and staining. Now it has cleared up my acne, I feel better, Im healthier, my teeth are stronger, & whiter. :) I will still drink some soda every now & then though.

i hardly ever drink water... it's always tea or coffee at home.

The only time i drink water is when im abroad in a hot country lying on a beach

No. I fucking love water and drink like a fish.

I always keep the same 1 liter bottle by me. And 90% of the time I drink it at room temp as it slides right down with no thermal shock or brain freeze. Only time I drink it cold is if I'm eating hot food.

60% of your whole body is water. And people can laugh but dehydration is a serious problem. When I get dehydrated I get lethargic, tired, foggy headed... so I pound .5 - 1 liter of water. And I notice within 20 mins suddenly I get a burst of energy and feel much more calmer and focused. I can't count how many times I've felt the need to take a nap... then I pound some water and suddenly I can go for a run.

If water can have that type of effect on a day to day basis... think about the effect it can have over your lifetime. Like going your whole life in a mild state of dehydration. All your organs including your brain will get lower amounts of oxygen. Your red blood cell count drops. So the more syrupy your blood is it's not just O2 in the blood that's depleted it's O2 that red blood cells are trying to carry to organs that will never get enough. And how can you wash toxins out of your body with greasy, dehydrated blood as opposed to hydrated blood? When you wash dishes you don't use mud do you? No, you use clean water.

The body is no different. If you're not staying hydrated your body is "cleaning" itself with the same old mud over and over. Then your saliva gets thick and disgusting. You try to spit and it comes out like water glass. Just strings up and doesn't wanna break. Then think about your teeth. If your mouth is drying out at night from dehydration during the day... bacteria goes apeshit. So while you sleep that bacteria is making acids in your mouth. Then before you know it teeth are falling out.

I've read studies that claim drinking water can extend your life by 10 years. And whether that's true or not (I believe it is), 50 years from now we're gonna learn some really interesting shit about the impact water has on your health. I think we'll learn that people who drink more water are far less likely to get diabetes. That they're less likely to have high blood pressure, heart disease, maybe even certain cancers like liver/lung/colon cancer.

There are tons of other factors that effect your overall health. But I'll put it like this (very simple). I've kept fish my entire life. When the water isn't changed enough that fucks with their health more than anything I can think of. Ammonia goes up, nitrates, bacteria blooms.... the fish lose their shine, lose scales, aren't as active, start attacking each other or swimming sideways. But when I consistently change the water they all swim around happily, their appetites are better and my 8" piranhas eat their FOOD rather than other live (and expensive) fish I have in that tank. The way those fish look and act when I forget to change the water is the same way I look and act when I'm not staying hydrated. So when you consider all this and that it takes 20 gdamn seconds to chug half a liter of water.... I don't get why anyone wouldn't do it. It's not hard. It's not like eating food where you need to prepare or chew anything. You just open your mouth and drink. Common sense should tell anyone if that's all you need to do to.... for all the benefits water gives you.... who the hell wouldn't do it?

Like my mother. She never fucking drinks water. I always tell her to drink a glass of water when she's tired she goes for coffee instead. For some bullshit reason she "can't" drink water and it really pisses me off. She just imagines this in her head. HOW can you "not" drink water? Or worse... "hate" it? Do you hate air? Do you realize air & water are both colorless and odorless? That the energy it takes to drink water is slightly more than the energy it takes to breathe. I srsly don't get it. Drink fucking water. It's clearly very good for your health. It's the 2nd easiest thing you can do aside from breathing so why people don't... I just don't get it.

What a philosophical question. What's the point of evolution if we cannot ask these basic questions that would give us an insight into life as we know it. A deeper understanding of the universe. Why do we drink water? Why do we breathe Oxygen? Why do we wear clothes? Why do we eat food? Why do we walk instead of rolling around?

Jokes apart. I love water. Love its taste and cannot get enough of it.

How many of you actually hate drinking water?

You're supposed to drink a certain amount of water per day, but I know a lot of people who absolutely cannot stand drinking water. They drink a lot of pop, beer, tea, coffee, juice - anything but water. I'm not going to go into how unhealthy they are because that's not what this is about. Also, I think you can probably guess.

When I was a kid I hated drinking water. Now that I'm older, I love water. I will not go a day without drinking it. I see the benefits of it, but some people hate it and refuse to drink it. One of my friends said it tastes nasty. I'm trying to figure out how, as it is water, and it doesn't taste like anything. At least not the water I drink.

Anyway, anyone else here hate water?

Please don't be mean to people who don't drink water guys. I don't want this to turn into some kind of health crusade. Although I know once someone says they're vegan, it's all over.

That's me, lol I drink coffee like water, and I feel perfectly fine, lol I drink like 10 cups of water per month

I thought quora is the only site where we get to see such stupid questions posted...

I thought reddit was the only site where people made stupid, irrelevant comments. Guess we both got the shock of our lives.

You mean fluoride right? its actually good for you contrary to what conspiracy theorists think..... very good for teeth and bones!

I don't like drinking water, not even bottled water. I try to drink at least 2 bottles of water per day.

I used to drink around 3 litres of pepsi a day no joke couldn't get enough of the stuff. For years. Then I decided to cut down on sugar pop chocolate etc. Now I drink around 2 - 3 litres of water a day. Im more alert and more awake than I have been my whole life. I do sometimes have the odd can of Pepsi if it's 2am and I need to write some content. Just from drinking that can shows me how bad the stuff really is.

Id recommend to anyone to have a month with a low sugar in take. Its a bitch to get off the stuff. But you feel so much better.

Drinking to much fluoride is not a good idea at all. No matter what way you look at it. I knew a girl that used to eat toothpaste her teeth had been eroded and the enamel stripped because of the ammount of floride that she had consumed.

oh and

" fluoride is more toxic than lead, but slightly less toxic than arsenic. This is why fluoride has long been used in rodenticides and pesticides to kill pests like rats and insects "

I don't know where you get your information from im guessing your talking about calcium? because flouride can harm and weaken bones.

I drink the hell out of some water - not quite a gallon a day but approaching that much. It is almost ritualistic for my workday. It not only hydrates and refreshes me but it makes me get my ass out of my chair every hour or so and walk down the hall to the bathroom to go pee.

At the end of the workday I might have a beer.. These days usually red wine with dinner. Today I had fruit tea for lunch - it was tasty but too much sugar >_<
