Do you guys use scrapebox?

I remember when I first got to this forum, I saw multiple scrapebox treaths, it was basically a spam machine, but since I didn't took IM serious till this last semester, I never paid to much attention about the software functionality, also since google has chenged alot, I was wondering what could be the use of scapebox?

As I know, most people are using them. Because most people are familiar using it, that seem to have less thread about it.

Scrape box is awesome.. One of my favorite tools!!

It's a tool. And it's very useful. Imo the best one in the IM industry.

Scrapebox is better for scraping emails etc than posting on relevant sites imo.

It's not just for spamming, it's a useful tool for analysis in general - such as harvesting related searches from Google for longer tail search queries that their Keyword Planner doesn't typically return, monitoring your rankings for given keywords (as well as learning who your biggest competitors are for those same keywords), bulk checking if domains are available, and much more. You do, however, need to purchase private or semi private proxies each month though, to get the full benefits of the program - so that's an added expense to keep in mind, in addition to the initial cost of the program. You can't do a whole lot with it without the proxies, since most of the scraping features of it will get blocked quickly by the search engines.

The list of what it can't be used for is probably shorter and most people that use it don't use it to build links. Less then 1% of the functionality of Scrapebox is building links yet too many people think "Scrapebox is a link building program". Its just what some people used it for because it worked well.

check for vanity/anchor rich or expired domains on web 2.0 sites
build in your own web 2.0 sites to check
mass shorten urls
check urls for malware
for heavens sake you can even play chess in Scrapebox! lol

Oh and if you feel like it build links on blogs, image platforms, guesbooks and more.


So that is sort of a "scratch the surface of what Scrapebox" can do.

With Scrapebox you can find high quality expired domains. You just need is a method.

I use scrapebox daily and never built a comment link with it. As any other tool, knowing how to really use a tool, only then, you are able to get the full potential. IMO, mastering 1 tool is way better than using 10 tools daily

It's a very good tool, I use it to scrape emails from websites and users+channels from youtube, It's fast and effective.

A crazyloo amount of people are using this tool.

We use it almost every single day for scraping, tracking and research. We also have article scraper and rank tracking premium addons. Content is an important part of our marketing strategy for our sites and we use several different methods of content generation. The rank tracker is used as a backup and to verify some of the other tracking systems we use. I must confess we don't use it for blog commenting so I can't speak to how effective it still is for that.
