Do you guys use nootropics for productivity?

I take modafinil on occasion when im in a crunch, doesn't really make you smarter or do anything to your heart like adderal. It just disables the need for sleep for a day

Adhere to plant-based supplements like Ashwagandha
It can even boost your T-level.
I take Shilajit and multivitamins and Brahmi (Brain Supplement) every day along with my gym protein and pre-workout and bcaa. I work out regularly and do breathwork as well to keep myself detoxified. I also take 500 ml green tea daily which has 4 bags of green tea 1 lemon 4 spoons of honey and apple cider vinegar I love this combo over everything else. I was a request Starbucks goer and used to work from there 5-6 hours a day with daily caffeine but I stopped caffeine a long time ago as my pre-workout gives me enough caffeine to get that pump throughout the day!

One main thing is to sweat the fuck off every day as it's the best way to detox yourself and get healthy mentally and physically and look young.

Just my 0.02 USD

From where you order Shilajit :D Varun?

Personally caffeine is ineffective for me never did even when I was younger. I think its cuz I had undiagnosed ADHD until early this summer. I was prescribed adderall and it helped a lot before that I used to use nootropics (too many to list but practically every racetam and more). My new personal favorite stack is simply adderall & phenylpiracetam. I do feel an increase in anxiety and restlessness so sometimes ill counteract this with a bowl of weed. Not enough to get me high but enough to mellow me out. I've gotten more done in the past month than I have in a year. 3 new projects all coming along nicely just being held back by housekeeping/waiting on people and my grades have gone back up. I went from getting all As to failing classes due to online school and this stack fixed it I managed to get a 97% on my calculus final despite getting a ~60% on the midterm. Highly recommend it if your willing to counteract the negative affects through a healthy lifestyle. Magnesium at night also helps you reduce the tolerance buildup of adderall and also helps you sleep.

Another stack that's mostly just recreational is weed and coluractam. The visual sharpness and energy boost from coluractam synergies so well with weed. Working out on this stack or going on a run is god tier. Went on a hike with this combo and it was amazing. Its not the generic euphoria based happiness you get with other drugs I don't know exactly how to describe it but it's like how life was when you were a kid if that makes any sense.

At the start of a new business, I like to go for a daily coffee and 1 ritalin every 3 days, for around 2 weeks. I'm able to end every day feeling accomplished, and the momentum stays within the 2 off days. I normally start to feel super drained towards the end of the day and slightly anxious when taking ritalin.

Synergies are generally more risky, so I tend to avoid them as It will just kick off my anxiety.

But I understand your point. These are just short term solutions, to problems that have a big effect on your sober future.

From where you order Shilajit :D Varun?
We get it at a local medical store. 20 tablets for $8.

I stay in Mumbai city so this is a commercial price. If I go to the north mountains then over there we get natural shilajit which is the best quality and damn cheap last time I had been there I got 20x more quantity with the same price and much better and pure quality.

Indian north mountains have the best hash and shilajit.

Continued exposure to caffeine leads the body to create more adenosine-receptors in the central nervous system, which makes it more sensitive to the effects of adenosine. It reduces the stimulatory effects of caffeine by increasing tolerance, and it increases the withdrawal symptoms of caffeine as the body becomes more sensitive to the effects of adenosine once caffeine intake decreases. Caffeine tolerance develops very quickly. Tolerance to the sleep disruption effects of caffeine were seen after consumption of 400 mg of https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caffeine 3 times a day for 7 days, whereas complete tolerance was observed after consumption of 300 mg taken 3 times a day for 18 days.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caffeine_dependence#cite_note-10

Dude, eat!
Dude, sleep!
Dude, hygiene!

Dude, repeat the cycle!

Try antidepressants if you can't focus and think you need something to antagonize your neurotic, impulsive nature.
Or maybe just be honest with yourself and agree that you are chasing something you don't need.

But a visit to a psychologist and psychiatrist wouldn't hurt. It would be good if you told them that you were taking these nootropics. Maybe they'd give you something as an antidote.
By antidote I mean something that would reverse the invisible damage potentially done by those substances.

Nootropics are toxic shit made up in Russian laboratories. It's playing with the system.

You must opt to stop activating your reward circuit and go with the flow.

You don't cure yourself by doing drugs. What more can I tell you? :D

The first step to success is to admit that you are an addict and start a therapy, where you will learn to get those marks naturally.
Or you will change your outlook on the world and realize that they are worthless.

In my experience no ADHD person would be able to even get to the point where you are. ADHD is a common misdiagnosis. Like some time ago there were tons of asperger diagnosis.
However doctors simply stopped doing that cause it was just bad for their clients and reputation. :D

Even caffeine is not so obvious in its mechanism of action. If you are playing with your body, at least think about wellbutrin and some other interesting compounds.

Compounds deeply researched in psychiatry to deal with issues like your.

Those nootropics are just junk. I would rather microdose shrooms and pop a thizz from time to time than put this crap into my body.

Caffeine really helps my productivity. However, I don't function very well when I get less than 7 hours of sleep.

No supplement, only coffee and sports.
If you don't want to feel tired, cut on sugar.
Add meditation and frequent mental exercise (reading, programming, etc. but none of those silly brain games) to this mix and you'll be in better mental shape than pretty much the entire nootropics community. Nearly all supplements have no statistically significant intelligence benefits except for caffeine and nicotine which can increase short term memory slightly, but even then the science is questionable

Caffeine is a fucked up drug. It makes you anxious, triggers fight or flight response and makes you tired due to adenosine issues.

Nicotine is activating reward pathways. It's useless.

Yeah I agree personally, neither sit well with me because of those issues. But there is some research on them improving short term memory, but it's so little and I think the costs far outweigh the benefits, if the research is even correct

I use it on regular basis, which means not all time but maybe 3-4 times per month, really helping me a lot.
