Do you go on holidays?

Spent part of my young life traveling and fighting, most of the time I was on my own. If you are shy, and can't talk to people at the bar or at breakfast then going on your own isn't for you and no doubt you will feel worse than you do now.

But if you can say 'hi, how are you?' without feeling like the world is going to cave in then go for it. You already have a back story your friends are pricks and you decided to screw them and go on holiday without them.

You can have fun at your own time, take downtime as you need it. Eat, Sleep, Drink and fuck when you want and not work to anyone else's schedule.

Go book a flight and have fun.

In about a month, me and my girlfriend are taking a trip to Hungary and then to Croatia. I can't wait to get away for a few weeks and come back with a fresh mind.

Feb/March I'm off to Switzerland then India ( Mumbai ) then onto Goa.

It's 28 degrees and sunny here in Spain, so I get plenty of sun and I don't do snow/ skiing, so we don't go on vacation as such in the warm months out here, there's no need.

I was living in Swiss!! Nice place but too fucking expensive! (7 Eur a Cappuccino for instance)

Also I have been traveling in India for 5 weeks, of course I went to Goa!! India will change your life perspective! Even if you been in other Asian country, like Singapore or Thailand (which I’ve been living there for few months), you will feel India very wild and amazing.

I lived a dream for 5 weeks, amazing beaches, incredible adventures in trains full of people, amazing atmosphere, sleeping in mountain, doing couchsurfing. Renting a scooter, doing some yoga .. amazing!! Hope you will enjoy it buddy!

Going abroad for vacation a couple of times a year, currently on vacation in Thailand (Krabi).

Still gotta work a few hours a day on my laptop even though I am on vacation, money never sleeps.

I was hoping to go on holiday with my university friends, but one of them always cancels plans last minute and he has done it again this year, so I think I might fall into a depression if I keep living in this deserted place for the entirety of summer.

What about you guys? Anyone here going on holiday?

Yes I am but having a hard time to relax. It is okay to travel alone I have done it many times.

This 12 months my travel for vacation is;

Did Singapore and Thailand in January.
March we were in Miami and Florida where we were privileged to meet @BassTrackerBoats and his lovely wife ( https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/dinner-with-misterf-and-mrsf.1100945/ ) while across the pond.

I'm going back to Dubai in December then Oman ( to Muscat ).

I hope you fit in Mumbai and Goa in Feb. Starts to get really hot and humid March onwards. And definitely don't extend it beyond March if you hate humidity.

How did you find Egypt?
I don't wanna hijack OP's thread so im gonna keep it short.
It was very nice, would go there again when i have the chance. Lots of good food, friendly people and such. The only thing i didn't like where these pesky streetsellers that wanna sell you a damn bracelet for 1€. They won't accept a simple no.. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Sometimes plans fall through, but that doesn't mean you can't make the most of the time you have.

If you are looking to travel solo, try s.e asia or south america if either are reachable for you. Most people are all traveling to common destinations and are happy to mingle and meet people

Been to 30+ countries so far. I always travel end of July till mid September. This year the destination is north Italy: Lake Garda and Milano. I was thinking to add Portugal as well, but I have university assignments so I'll leave it for next year.

Last year it was South Germany, 2 days hiking in the French Alps, then down to the French Riviera: Nice, Cannes and of course the sexy Monaco.

And no I didn't miss Cinque Terre (the famous destination among all IG travelers), I went there last year as well.

Before all this (2017) I did a trip from Germany to one of the northernmost points in Europe: Nordkapp, Norway (the best experience was arriving at 3AM in the camp there and it was sunny outside :D ).

On our way to Nordkapp, we visited Denmark, Sweden and Finland and on our way back we went with a ferry from Finland to Estonia and then we visited Latvia and Lithuania as well.

And no, stupid hotels are for clueless people calling themselves "travelers". We book everything through "booking.com" - most of the time whole houses or apartments and it's extremely cheap if you plan it early. Sometimes we stay at campsites.

Meteora, Greece is another destination I'll never forget. Stunning nature.

I will be n Greece next month. Open for advices.

Take a deep breath and hop on. Let no one stop you and if no one keeps the promises start solo. Stay on hostels and you will get a lot of friends.
