It is harder now, but it still depends on what you are doing to make money online.

Competition increased alot since corona pandemic started in 2020
 
Yeah it harder due to more competition (more people and big websites competiting on tons of keywords).

On the other hand, you have more tools which make life easier and having some old websites with good authority make things more comfortable as it creates entrance barrers for newcomers.
 
Agreed, you don't have to go to 2010! just back in 2017 i have made load of money by creating simple amazon affiliate blogs with low comp keyword such as Best Juicer...Yes this was low comp keyword, now most of the these blogs were either outranked by a new york time,cnn or other authority sites. The one that survived the competition got hit hard by the 5000 google updates in the last 5 years.
 
Not really. Even though there is a lot of competition, mostly the quality of that competition is not the best and can be outperformed easily.
 
It's much harder today. If you don't have skills + money you're not in a good position.

I made my money and got my skills when things were easy. I would not like to start from scratch now.

But, if you are determined enough you'll succeed in any time.
 
Yes true, because we are all aware of all tools and we have google also, people are more knowledgeable and we face tough competition.
 
Of course it is harder, but if you are determined and dedicated eventually the universe will be on your side.
Just prove all of them wrong.
 
Yes its very very hard, everybody should just quit as fast as possible so we others can make more money without them. :cool:
 
Competition become tougher but market size has also grown, still lots of opportunities to earn.
