Do you feel digital = addiction?

its funny when mind says.."you need to check your phone now" and next moment " you're slave in digital"

Mind is a cheater

I think there’s always a perfect balance. We’re progressing towards an age where spending unnatural amounts of time looking at a screen is inevitable. It’s not just digital marketing. Unless you’re a laborer or daily wage worker, your profession more than likely demands you to be on your screen more than it was a decade ago.

It’s sad though as these days I take 15 mins off at about 10:00 AM to just go and sunbathe. The key is trying to be as healthy as possible and sunlight works wonders to improve mood.

I think digital is going to evolve to be healthier.

Nobody will even think about it as addictive, because it's going to be an essential part of everyones lives.

We don't say we're addicted to our house, it's just something essential that we need.

Stuff like neuralink or that laser able to send images directly to our retina, will make screens obsolete.

We'll probably replace keyboards with hand gestures, which will contribute to fitness and posture as well.

It is a real addiction, simply because it is everywhere and pretty much everything these days involves using a screen.

Want to relax? Watch Netflix
Want to bank? Use your banking app
Want a taxi? Book an Uber
Want to stay in touch with friends/family? Use Whatsapp

As much as I would like to be using digital devices less, it is very difficult.

That's what I need to keep grinding for a couple of years so that I can buy a nice house in the middle of nowhere mortage free.

I will then spend a couple of hours a day on IM and spend the rest of my time away from screens and everything else associated with this horrible world we live in such as influencers, political correctnes, forced vaccines and whatever else.
