I fake all my Whois info, just don't want my real name listed. But today I received two e-mails from whois reminder, if the information for two of my domain names is still up-to-date, and if not that they can delete my domains...

Anyone else had experience with this? I think i just change the info into another (more realistic) fake name.

I don't fake, use Namecheap's free proxy, but for legit (non BH) domains would use real info, since as I know you can lose your domain if someone complaints about the info not being legitimate.

I've used my real info for my eCommerce business but I've never been that comfortable with it.

I have faked information in the past. Although for my businesses, I definitely put in the correct information. Which sometimes is a pain as I get annoying postal spam about renewing our domains at only $97... what a steal! :)

It depends on the site, if the site has BH or illegal activites then yes i use fake, but if the site is legit, i'd use my real info,
But either way i still use privacy :)

If we purchased a domain name without privacy, is it pointless to add it in later? This is for autoblogs.
