Do YOU code your own HTML e-mail ads?

If not what do you use. trying to code the html without css is a headache and it seems like there will always be some kind of mail program that renders it differently and messes it up.

Any tips on doing it yourself or do you do it some other way?

There are so many tools that can be used to program in html.
You can use dreamweaver if you want to design a site.

I know how to code in html/css, it's a pain to code html the old way and wysiwyg editors like dreamweaver mess things up as well. I'm asking what the general consensus is on how to do it so that it looks the same in as many email programs as possible.
