Just a quick one.

When you get a lead that agrees to a meeting, do you:

1) Do the meeting yourself and close the client

Or

2) Let one of your team handle the meeting?

In other words, do you think it's possible to outsource the meetings to a closer?
If yes, do you think clients have a problem with that?

Something I've been thinking about lately.

Depends on niche. If you feel more confident, you should do the closing yourself, if you have a more confident team member that is good at closing you can also consider outsourcing to let the person do it.

I close the clients myself via meeting, Google Meet or Zoom.

Yes, I also think that you can outsource the meeting to a closer, if you train him/her well & offer a monthly salary + bonuses.

The key is to keep the closer if he's good at his job. Offer bonuses on closing mid-big deals.

I don't think clients have any problem with talking to a closer, if they get what they want.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah makes sense.
I was wondering if this is possible (closer getting on the meeting not me) and wouldn't cause a discrepancy because one moment they see me talking to them while setting the meeting then later they get someone entirely different talking to them in the meeting.

Better to mention it on the calendar page, frame it like book a meeting with one of our expert...

Tell them one of my team will be on the meeting?

I’ve got two closers I share a fair 20% commission with. Both have a proven track record of closing $500K+ per workshop elsewhere. Right now, I’m more than satisfied with the results... I send them warm leads, and they close the deals.
ROAS is 9×. It depends on your niche, but CopeCart is perfect for handling the vendor and closer stuff.

Edit: As soon as they get someone who wants the service but just needs a small push, the closer, the customer, and I join a Zoom call… though usually it doesn’t happen that often.

Back to your question: I think you should definitely go for closers with track record !!

Thanks I'll check it out.

When you send the warm leads to the closers, what do you usually say, do you make it clear to the leads that someone from your team is going to be on the meeting so that they know it's not you who they will be talking to? And are they fine with it?

Another thing I can't wrap my mind around is, in my mind I'm thinking how can someone close the deal other than me, I have this idea that no one will be able to understand my product or service better than me so I'm always thinking do I need to sit down and teach someone in detail our service so they can know how to close the deals effectively and this makes me not have the patience or even confidence to outsource the sales/meetings. I'm not sure I'm seeing things clearly I have very limited experience in outsourcing meetings.

When someone books a call through our landing page, they enter a structured proces even if they aren't aware of it yet.... The first call is a simple setting call... we don’t pitch, we don’t sell, and we don’t overwhelm them. Instead, we use this call to get to know the person, build trust, and collect all their core pain points.... such as "I’m struggling to get visibility" or "I don’t know how to scale consistently." At this stage, the person usually speaks with a "Team Member", not the CEO directly... and in 99% of cases, people understand that. If someone asks why the CEO isn’t on the call, we simply explain that if he answered everyone personally, he wouldn’t have time to actually run the business or deliver high level results.

You seem to overthink everything..... just accept that in reality, everything is much simpler than your mind wants you to believe.

I handle the meetings myself. It builds trust and allows me to better connect with the client. Outsourcing can work if your closer is skilled, but some clients might feel disconnected if they don't meet the person they were initially in contact with. It really depends on the relationship and the type of service you offer.

What is your actual niche ?
Does your Funnel Convert ?

We are selling to tech companies, honestly I'm not sure yet managed to get a few to agree to a meeting but so far none showed up.

Where are you based?
Honest advise, crack it yourself first - figure out the value, persona, funnel - if you do, closing becomes very easy.
People not showing up to meetings is certainly normal, you decrease that by:
- Calling them within the first 2-3 minutes since you got the lead.
- Sending automated reminders.
- Gong back to the value and funnel, ensuring you do actually deliver value, value value value value - can't stress that enough.

Do NOT put "closers" until you have fully understood how to close yourself, otherwise you'll end up spending thousands and getting depressed.

I think some just stick with the first person they talked to because that’s who they built trust with and they don’t wanna re-explain everything and feel like they’re being passed around but depends on the client really

It truly depends on how you set things up. Outsourcing meetings can definitely be successful if you have a strong closer who is well-versed in your offer and capable of effectively representing your brand. As long as the conversation feels valuable, professional, and consistent, clients typically don't mind who they speak with. Nevertheless, a personal touch from you can occasionally make a significant difference for expensive or relationship-based transactions.

Closing is as much about trust as the pitch. Outsourcing works if your closer is sharp and aligned with your values, but some clients do expect to talk to the main decision-maker. Clear communication upfront is key to avoid surprises.
