Sorry, I have no idea where this topic would be..

I was wondering how often do you guys check your spam folder. Often or hardly any?

I browse it every week or so, often see an unspam email in there.
 
I do at random.. when I'm incredibly bored.

I've never found anything that shouldn't have been there though. google has a good spam system.
 
every day ! some spam fing good items :D
 
Just to check for false positives, otherwise I never read spam.
 
Checking Spam folder is the first thing I usually do when log into my account. My inbox can wait...
 
I use an old version of SpamKiller that lets me intercept any spam before it reaches my box, so I do it at least 3-5 times a day, it's a routine :D
 
hehe yeah, im checking it too, and sometimes finding something useful lol
 
I check it maybe once a month. Never found anything useful there anyway, just the usual viagra/gambling spam.
 
I check spam box every time I check my mails so few times per hour.
 
Every few days - though most are spam some are actually important things I would have otherwise missed.
 
I have too much email and too many things to be constantly checking it. I look it over quickly every couple of weeks or if i'm missing an email that I should have received..
 
All the spam mailing lists I sign up for get sent to my spam box. I check them every now and then, occasionally find something interesting.
 
You can get some great marketing ideas from your spambox :)
 
I use Mailwasher which picks it up first and highlights it. I set up my own filters with various keywords which will delete them on my mail server before I even see them. Havent seen a viagra or penis enlargement spam for months. Couldn't live without Mailwasher.

Never check the yahoo or google spam folder, set to auto delete.

Good point. I stopped using yahoo just because of the insane amount of spam I used to get.

Here is a question for you guys, how do you filter non-latin emails? I get some crazy Chinese/Asian spam often and I can't stop it from getting to my inbox sometimes (not all the time). I tried randomly adding the kanji in my filters but it doesn't work.
 
Don't normally check mine. Do occasionally but never really find any good stuff in there:)
