So I've been contacted by a company in my niche that manufactures equipment and clothing. They want to guest post on my site.

My site is a revived older site that has around 10 posts now and ranks a bunch of keywords in top 5 and 11-50.

DA is obviously low. Do you charge in a situation like this? Seems it could bring some extra traffic to my site and could be a good option to work out an affiliate deal.

If It is possible , then yes. Some company just want free guest post.

So it's your choice.

I'm only accepting if they pay Me :D
 
Yes you should charge, Because they are getting something from you shouldn't you get something from them.

Yeah charge around $20 to $40 for 500+ quality article only of they are relevant to your niche .

If they are not relevant to your niche you will think twice and offer them a guest post

Its a good opportunity mate. Get a website link from that company, check their metrics and traffic on Ahref and Moz.

Ask them about their budget and how many links they need.

If their site getting good traffic, then you can provide at an affordable prices because you said that your site has low DA.

You can charge them if you like or offer them free link. If you're going for a free link see if they can link back to you from their own site.
 
Thanks guys, appreciate it. Just finding out what they want to contribute. They are in my niche. My site is based more on the informational side with some affiliate products related to the information.

They have a DA of 34 so could be good to get some links from them. Depending on what they want, I may offer it for free in return for a link back to my site and perhaps my own affiliate deal with them as it seems they don't have an affiliate program
 
The way that I usually work it, is give them the option.

I won't charge for a nofollowed link, but the article needs to be 1,500+ words on a topic that they decide, I often get them to send ideas and tweak it with a bit of keyword research to try drive traffic.

For a d0follow link, I start high, like £100, but will come down to £50. I won't do below that, as I'd be simply linking out to too many people.
 
Charge them $100.

Don't give them option of link for free content.

You can get decent 1000 words for $20-$30.
 
If they are creating the content. After you've assured yourself that the content is worthy to go live on your blog, charge them what a placement on your blog is worth.

If you post unique article and for create backlink on your site then you can charge.
 
I charged around 20 $. It is actually one of the easiest ways to montize blogs.
 
Yes, you can charge but it is also base on authority of your site.
