I'm wondering how many of you buy licences for images for your blogs/websites and whether anyone here had any problems due to using images from google without licence?

I use twenty20 / royalty-free images or images which are free to share and use commercially via search engines. I do that just to not take the risk as hate is a hobby these days and I don`t want to take any risk.

Images on moneysites are our own or paid for licenced.

Web 2.0s are free stock ones.

I've had problems with copyright in the past.

Easy to take down an entire site using DMCA if you really want to.

Pixabay has royalty free images but they're crappier than the Shutterstock ones. It depend what you're after. I don't think it affects SEO yet, but it might eventually be a factor to have unique images.

If you are placing Google Adsense on your blogs, it is highly recommended that you buy copyright images or use royalty free.

Just to stay safe!

it is better to use the licensed images for websites to avoid copyright problems in the future, for unique royalty-free images try with Shutterstock, but for that, you have to spend some amount...

basically images from public domain are royalty free and you can use it for commercial use or sell it on its own.

A cheap way is to buy Canva PRO (12$ x month) and you've got some niche images that you can't find on free stock, but not that impressive.
