Hi Guys,

This is not an SEO subject and might not be the right place for this subject.
I want to get your opinion tho on this one.

I don't believe that ANONYMOUS hack websites using DDOS

1 - Once hacked, the are able to put a message on the website once hacked. I assume they are able to access the files on the server
2 - DDOS are easly stopped by the routers from the source, thus they don't go far

What do you guy think ?
Any thoughts ?

Thanks

Not that I want to end up on some watch list for posting this, but REX is correct. DDOS is usually reserved as a last ditch effort after you've exhausted all known ways to exploit a site otherwise. As a side note, the CIA site has been hacked by the Chinese many times. Or by operators going through Chinese proxys, there's really know way to determine the origin other than that.

DDOS is not easily stopped. There are Packets comin from hundreds if not thousands of ip addresses. This is not "hacking" either. That word is used too liberally. They use exploits like CSS and others to gain access to websites or servers. They have been known to use DDOS attacks in certain instances.
