Do you believe in karma ?

I think there are 3 general groups of people when it comes down to sharing an opinion about the concept of karma:

  • people that think they understand it based on movies and other outer signals (and most of them don't believe in karma because movies portray a wrong image of karma that doesn't correspond to personal experience)
  • people stuck (throughout most of the time) and experiencing life through the limited capacity of the left hemisphere (they can't understand such concepts)
  • people that know a little about karma
Hope this comment was as neutral as possible and didn't affect anyone.

Your post was as 'neutral' as you would expect from someone who believes anything. All 3 of your options assume that karma is real. It isn't.
 
I don't believe in that because I believe that bad intent can lead to happiness, while good intent can lead to suffering. I'm not saying that these two are always true, but they are possibilities.
 
When I was younger I was very aggressive in business. If a competitor has shot at me, I shot back ...100 bullets ...from behind if I had the chance.

Someday I've met someone who was more clever than me and fucked me up really hard. I had fears and problems to sleep for months. This was an extremely ugly time and i still have some little problems because of that.

Since that I'm believing in karma and my working ethic is "Live and let live." I don't care about my competitors anymore. If they're better ...congrats. And if they do something wrong ...I don't care. It's not my job and I've to focus on my own work. Karma will enforce it in the long run.

Everyone gets what they deserve sooner or later. That means karma for me.

But messes with supposedly weaker people, one time will find one that snaps.... Sine would say karma....

So why are there million examples where the culprit got away? Where was Karma?

It's convenient to cite it in example one and not talk about it in all other cases
 
I will be neutral here. Although i find it a great opportunity to exercise my sarcasm. I am having a good time reading the replays though.
 
Imo it's part of the control system. So for some reason other than fact and rationality I get to blame myself for all the bad that might come my way, like for some reason I deserve to get cancer as an example ( example, I don't have cancer) and then I don't have to look into GMO or EMF or corrupt politicians or big pharma suppressing cures... Sorry /rant.
 
now i dont believe in karma..
because when a toxic or retard person believe it...
they will try do a good things to cover their toxic or retard personality that hurt others

Do Good = their Bad Karma Will be gone

no our universe is governed by the laws of cause and effect.There is a logical explanation for any event in the known universe

This also involves concept of re-birth. As per this, the people you think did bad and got away are actually punished in next births. I know that lot of you will not believe in re-birth as well but if you give it a thought just think of things which are not in your control family and place where you are born (very much affects your life) , getting born with a disease or dying in an accident etc.
 
Sure your karma stays with you, but i dont believe it is a simple as your next life being your past life karma lol

That is the essence actually. According to this, your friends could have been your family members in past. Sometime you meet new people and you are forced to think you know them already. Similarly, it is so easy to connect with some people.
 
It's frightening how so many people will just suspend belief and logic when they want and believe any old rubbish with zero proof. The true definition of gullible.
