Hello,

i was trying to test some old technique in none English website and i found that the blog comments is still working and i get a good rank using it - in none relevance content

do you think blog comments is still working in English content ?

Of course they're still working and hold a place in a good, balanced seo campaign. Just use your brain - don't spam, don't use excessive anchors and don't post on questionable or heavily-abused pages.

Blog comments increase your rate of engagement. It also encourages interaction among readers and writers/contributors.
 
Blog commenting is useful for making a balanced link profile as most of them are nofollow
 
Blog Commenting is helpfull to get rank to your site. An useful comment will helps to increase the keyword variation and it makes your blog more reachable for long tail Keywords.
 
And Disqus links are quite powerful. Add link in your profile and just comment anything you want, you will get link.
 
Blog commenting still works particularly in relevant to your niche sites.
