Do you add authoritative links to your PBNs?

For example, I have a tech blog about Adobe products and my moneysite is in an unrelated niche (say sports equipment), I have found a way to insert my moneysite link pretty well but should I also be adding authoritative links related to Adobe/tech on other pages, wikipedia, wired.com , ect...?

If yes, how many would be optimal to keep as much link juice flowing to my moneysite?

I imagine "no following" the authoritative links only would leave a footprint?

I usually link to "resources" used to write the article, authority domains that i am in no way competing. If you are selling sports equipment for example, you could link to some football player or a team, something that wouldn't come up for "<sports equipment stuff> reviews".

1-3 links is what I usually do.

Randomly. Sometimes yes, mostly no. I just think it dilutes the juice too much to make it a standard practice.

i do add authoritative websites but make sure they are only informational websites and not ranking on my keyword

You generally want to use PBNs straight away. For me the answer is NO. If your PBN is losing power, just buy another one to replace.
