Do you actually follow google ads auto recommendations?

I rarely apply them blindly. I’ve tested some bidding and budget recommendations, and a few improved delivery, but others just increased spend without improving conversions. I usually let the account data run for a few days before deciding whether the recommendation actually makes sense.
