do wordpress ripped themes make your website slow?

lol i took nice nulled gaming theme and ripped it off all useless .js and .css files and its faster than my car babe
but yeah better take something free and responsive and fast on start = you can edit a design once and then reuse it on future sites. for examply my nulled theme doesnt work with yoast what a waste

any tips on how to check it?Guys, if you get nulled themes be sure to check them of malware, adware and other nastyware. I've used a theme like that a few years back and the damn thing kept hidden from me for a while but showed ads to regular visitors)

Some premium wordpress themes are build to 'Look good' and impress the buyer. Because at the end of the day, they are a product made to sell in large volume.
So the best option is to either look for themes from a certain framework or to 'top-up' a simple theme.
