I think Web 2.0 backlinks can still work, but only when they’re used carefully and with realistic expectations.
From what I’ve observed, they seem more effective as part of a broader link profile rather than as a primary strategy. Well-built Web 2.0s with unique content and some level of engagement can help with indexing or early traction, but relying on them heavily feels risky long term.
Curious how others are using them now are they more of a support layer for you, or something you’ve phased out completely?
