Do we have Custom Keyboard Enthusiasts on BHW?

I'm really wondering, is anyone into Custom keyboards here?
I was interested in this area for a long time, but it was pretty expensive and hard to get on in the past, so around 6 months ago I got into it.

Currently, I'm rocking a custom GMMK Compact.

The build:
- GMMK Compact Ice.
- Gateron Yellow (Milky Top, Black bottom [RIP RGB])
-- Lubbed with krytox 205g0
-- Filmed
- Cherry plate-mounted stabs (clipped, holee modded, lubbed with krytox 205g0)
- Akko Neon (cherry profile)
- Custom Color matching Aviator Cabel for the extra looks.


Sound test, first 30 seconds is stock with swapped keycaps only. The room has a bit of echo. It sounds so thocky irl.


Freshly ordered, waiting for arrival:
- TM680 (Milky White with Plate, wired only)
- EverGlide JWK Red
- DUROCK White Stabs (not v2, as TM680 supports only clip in stabs)
- Honey and Milk Keycaps Set (XDA Profile)
- Custom Knob (Black, with light thru)

Planned mods: EVERYTHING LITERALLY! Tryna make it thocky as possible.

Overall I'm into cheap builds as there is so much quality and thockyness to be found in this, and I hate waiting for drops or group buys.

I have a mechanical keyboard with red switches but nothing to fancy.

I really like that one though, colors appeal to creativity
