I am mainly asking this question for those who have uploaded a lot of videos to TikTok. Do videos ever blow up randomly after initial views boost wear off? Or the video is a toast now that the traffic on it stops after the first few hours and it doesn't get promoted by algo further.

On YouTube I had that happen occasionally

TikTok runs off momentum
The more I guess ‘engaging’ the video is the more views it will get.

Controversial posts that spark discussions in the comment sections

WTF random posts that get people talking, laughing, crying

Relatable posts that relate so much to a demographic they share to their social group

stuff like this is what pushes videos beyond the initial boost.

Tik tok is weird man , sometimes one video goes trending without reason

some videos get a push, some dont, its kinda in the
lap of the gods, ive uploaded 450 vids non went viral
How many views did you get though? When you say none went viral are you saying your TikToks didn't even at least get a 100,000 views or what?

The first video on a relatively new account was posted on Sunday, then I posted the second video and several others. None of the videos got many views but then yesterday the second video started taking off, it was getting views all of Friday and looks to have just cooled off, finishing on 396k.

It also drove significant traffic to my OF page - 1500 clicks from the associated tracking link. The crazy thing is it was a fairly boring video, just a camera panning shot of a fetish / BDSM dungeon, with a "what happens next" caption
