Do uppercase titles affect a SEO in a negative way?

I am wondering if I will write my titles for articles in that manner: "TOP 10 FREE SEO PROGRAMS", does it count as a spam? Does uppercase/lowercase affect SEO in any way? Actually there is some fonts that does not have uppercase/lowercase styles — they are the same for both options, so is it better to use them if I want uppercase titles?

I am unable to say for sure to be totally honest as I have never actually tested it. However I would go against what everyone else has said and say yes it will have a negative impact.

The reason I say this we already know for a fact Google do not like this type of practise so much so that they will disapprove any ads in Google ads for Capitalisation spam. Which tells me they would also ignore your title suggestions if you have used this method, at best they will auto correct the title you have used when it comes to using your titles in SERPs, at worst they could assign some sort of auto penalty or just ignore your title suggestion altogether and use other content on the page to populate tile on SERP's.

Further to this, it is not good for your visitors and visitor experience is something they have really worked on in recent years to improve the quality of sites they are ranking highest. So in my opinion yes it will have a negative impact however I have no proof to back my case it is just an opinion at this stage.
 
If I see all capital letters, from a reader's perspective, it looks like a spam offer. However, it doesn't affect the rankings.

It actually doesn't really affect how well your content does in search engines. But choosing fonts where upper and lower case look similar can keep your titles looking clean and consistent.

If it affects CTR, it affects SEO.
 
No, uppercase titles do not affect SEO in a negative way. In fact, they can help improve SEO by making the title more visible to search engines.
