Do the fake apps still work for CPA?

Okay, got a bit of time on my hands so thought I would have attempt #4 at making some money from IM instead of just hiding behind the coding / sysadmin / hosting side of my life.

Was going to have a crack at sticking something behind a content locker, mainly as I have a few $$ in Sharecash from last time I tried so thought I would try to top that off so I can withdraw it all.

I am playing with VB and have knocked up a few fake apps to blow the cobwebs out so was wondering if anyone is still using this method and is it still alive and kicking. To be honest, barely alive with a weak pulse would do me

Yea it works. That was my first 5k of online cash.

I just ranked websites made a short video showing how it "worked" and then pushed them to the dl page.

It always will work, even simple things like if you have a fake update box with a message stating to go to this URL for an updated version blocked by a content locker would increase conversions.

Setting up any offer and telling them to do any simple task would work too such as sign up here and fill out 2-5 random offers in order to qualify.

The above would only work if it is something fresh or unique to an industry.

As you are a coder you could establish a fake niche bot you can make that doesn't serve a function other than to load a popular message.

You could just make sure to do it in an unpopular niche such as maybe a script or something to automate following if you don't wanna setup a fake bot.

Made me close to $100,000 over the years. A sucker is born every day...

It depend on lots of things, but I'm pretty sure the one that people have trouble with is how to promote them correctly. You could try make a video on the fake app and upload it on Youtube, then promote them on Facebook groups related to that niche by using fake account obviously. Be careful though, the more you spam the higher the change for you to get reported, so do it at your own risk

You could invest some money to buy Youtube comment, host some fancy looking website with testimonials, etc. to make it more reliable. I'm not pretty sure about buying view on Youtube though as from what I heard, It's not worth it.
