do text links w/o a link help PR / bL's?

    For example if you get a link on a website or a blog to your site via comment that is non clickable, aka just www.website.com (WITHOUT A ACTUAL LINK), do you still get BL credit?

    no because it's not a link, it's just plain old text like you type in notepad.

    wow, I've encountered the same problem.
    I found out many SEOers leaves their website( not clickable same to you but with http:// ) in the foot of content(just like guest blogging) and comment . So I am feeling curious about it and then googling with "link:" and come to backlinkwatch.com, to surprise me, the address which SEOers leave their website appears in results.
    Very funny, I think everything could be possible in SEO industry because we are facing a big Blackbox.
