Do status updates still appear in feed?

Usually I see quite a few status updates but now i'm not seeing any, only ones from the major pages such as Mafia Wars etc. Has facebook changed how this works or something?

EDIT: Just tested, my old fan page (3 weeks+ old) got in the feed, but my brand new one (2 days old) didn't. Hmm?

I'm 99% sure that they still appear in feeds :lollypop:

they still appear but on how many fans news feeds depends on how many fans are on your page, how many comments and likes does that status update has etc ... bottom line if a status update is popular it will appear to more and more of your fans

So you're saying it is random, but the chance goes up with activity? That seems like an odd system.
