Do Sports blogs make money?

Any blog can make money. There are tons of sports blogs making over 6 figures a month, it's one of the easiest to monetize if rankings are there.

Any sport bolg is easy .

you go to a website that tell you the
day a match is on , you pick one in a weeks time.

you use blogger to write a article in the niche.

use the name of the team and the date and time in the tittle.

I have a couple friends who are in the same niche and they live comfortable lives with their IM money. There's two of them, one of them uses affiliate offers and redirects, the other does reviews and gets a commission from each sale. So yeah, Sports niche is viable if you put the effort in. The problem is with how diverse it is, when you say sports, I think football, some one else may think basketball, cricket, hockey, NFL, etc etc endless. So you cannot target a microniche unless you want to. So you need humongously exorbitant (double superlative for a reason) amount of traffic to actually get any converts.

Sports suddenly got the increase in rates over the course of the Internet..

The CPC's are typically higher than what you'd expect across the board, but get even higher after Super Bowl & Daytona events due to all of the available merchandising option / opportunity.

I am pretty sure you can make money off this. I would think that you could make some decent money off it infact as this is a good niche to do so.

We have a client who runs several sports niche based affiliate site. And I also believe that any sports site can make money using Adsense if that has a decent amount of traffic.
