I understand that some subreddits limit posts to aged, high karma account holders.

What about comments though? I'm wondering if subreddits have the ability to automod comments with links from low karma accounts

In my experience it depends a lot if you make a comment with value, and you leave your link disguised with your own domain, the probability that they will delete the comment and remove you from the subreddit decreases, you also have to take into account that if it is not of quality The comment may have negative votes, either because of the value or the link. and normal publications I would make or test if you send your traffic to a blog or page and then from there people convert, and not to a direct offer, yes, remember that there are automoderators, I recommend that if you do not get these in comments that you post your link at once.

yes, I know that sometimes depending in your karma you can comment several times or just one time when you are new and have no karma to avoid spam, so really depends on the subreditt.

Yes they have that ability through automod and several of them do it.

Do you do this in hopes they will post decent content and help build your pages?
pretty much just to stop people trying to promote their websites or services. I have a small sub with 2k members in the social media niche and get a lot of people trying to advertise their services

I do this. No need to be low karma accounts. I just ban the links

yes, they will restrict your account,, I suggest you to don't do that

Yes, they do put restrictions. It may be based on age, karma, or some other criteria. In some subs you have to ask the mods.
