Yes they do, if they dont have a tool that does the job for them they can even get it bespokely created. But pretty much its all about automation and they do use tools.

Depends upon company... Tools are used but not for every thing. you can't ignore Roboform or will not get any advantage if you fill form manually. Same happens when you are searching for sites to make backlinks, you use scrapebox to harvest urls.
You use tools to automate work and done things on speedy basis but some times blasting site can harm sites and good SEO companies know that so they charge you more and get manual work done. No good SEO company will charge less...

do seo automatically with proper knowledge, so the seo company do the seo with fast and proper way....

Automation is vital especially when running a large SEO firm.
Just to shed some light on this issue; automation is not always bad if done right!! Actually automation can be much better than manual work due to no mistakes being made. (Not in all cases and depends on the work being done)
Remember, you are paying for results that are long-term and not for manual labour that will get you nowhere!
I run an SEO company myself so trust me for this! I make it clear to my clients too what exactly has been automated and this just builds trust as the work is done exactly per their needs and they know what has been going on

So I'm guessing majority of SEO companies use the same tools as us ... scrapebox, xRumer, and seNuke.
Then the more advance companies(topseos.com/rankings-of-best-seo-companies) are at the point of making their own since their bringing in revenues in the millions.
The thing I'm interested in finding out is, what exactly their tools do? Anyone worked for any of these large SEO companies before that can shed some light?
