do scraping and posting tools pick up cookies?

    When marketers run apps like Xrumer and Scrapebox, if they pass through a forum or blog that drops a cookie; does the app pick up that cookie onto the hosts machine?

    yes it does, thats the only way you'd be able to post to a forum that needs registration.

    I dont think scraping will pick up the cookies 'cept from the SE youre using to scrape but surely posting will. Thats why you should use ccleaner after each session.
