Do SAPE links not work anymore?

Hey All,
I was going to buy some SAPE links directly from sape dot ru, and my questions are they worth it in 2014? I mean I'm no 12 in serp results with almost no links, and I really need a few links to make the first page. Should I invest in 5-10 links? Will google penalize me for this?

Could just be low competition and he's the only 1 doing on page SEO for the term I guess lol. Co-sign the Web 2.0s.
 
I got mixed results for my different sites so cannot figure out they are good or not. it is better not backlink directly to main site.
 
Sorry I should haveade it more clear. I do have web 2's. Facebook twitter youtube and google plus and used add me fast to boost shares etc. But no links. The question remains though, do these sape links work if I buy them directly?
 
Don't try it. because you look quite new and this may get your site fucked.

add some more web2.0 , video , guest post links.

sape is a hit and miss , search for some some sape guides before starting.
pbn links will be better then it.

SAPE can be risky. There's a lot of horror stories surrounding SAPE links. Even though the price might be higher, you should go for more exclusive blog networks. I've had good results with several PBN's here on BHW.
 
Try at your own risk!

If your site is churn & burn type, its worth a try, but if you want to stay longer in the market, I suggest not to try as you are pretty new to this.

If the site is already ranking no 12 without any SEO, I guess the competition is very low, following the regular working methods will definitely help.
 

If you can't afford to lose the website, then stay away from SAPE.

Simple as that.
 
Thanks for feedback guys, I just thought that I would buy them myself instead of paying for the same libks in the marketplace ( I assumed they solf sape links) because im fluent in russian, so id be able to select better websites / etc, but I guess I will just make a few videos etc
 
Sape is working, but you don't need it. It would be much safer to rank with web2.0. Sape is ok with churn and burn, but as far as I can see it's less safe.
 
Why do you want to try something that is risky enough, there are various other things to improve your site ranking. Try getting quality backlinks and you are sure to do good.
 
You dont need sape if you can get to num 12 without backlinks. Just build some contextual backlinks and you should move to the first page.
