I've noticed on the BHW marketplace and other places that there are services called "guest posting" which are a pretty far stretch to qualify as that. Guest posting refers to a site that has regular contributors and accepts the occasional post from a guest. Sites like that have real readership. What I've found with the services here though is a shitload of sites that just exist to post links on, and the only people ever posting there are "guests." To me that's just a diversified blog network. I mean this could be 20 guys in India all buying a handful of sites and allowing each other to post on their sites as "guests."

I guess it's just disappointing that people can use the term "guest post" here to refer to their blog network that accepts literally any content you throw at it and has no real readership or regular authors. Does anyone actually offer a real guest posting service where they write good articles that people actually want to read and post them on sites with real readership and an owner that writes regular articles for his readers?

I think the best way to ensure you are getting what you want is to contact the blog owners yourself and ask/pay/exchange posts with.Other than that, i don't think so....

OP

Its a hit and miss. As the previous person said, if you want to be 100% sure, then you'll have to do it yourself.

No guarantee here and never expect such a thing in online marketing

I am buying posts on good sites for a few clients....
Articles are always well written and related to the site's theme.
prices are no where near the $15 you pay here when you buy those bulk packages... but quality is much higher of course.

Don't think it will be to long til you receive a reply like:
"real yes real, we do real in fact so real your head will spin. buy from us mate, so real you won't know"

I feel you would hard pressed to find a 'real' guest posting service advertised. Mostly because it would be hard to consistently find legitimate websites to willing to accept your articles.

The best thing you could probably hope for would be individuals selling the opportunity to have one of your high quality articles posted to there website.

You pretty much explained it yourself why no one can consistently sell you 'real' guest posts. Because they would just be throwing mass amounts of content on there blogs from 'guests'

Yes it is, real guest posting services still exists. You can find people selling authentic guest blogging service in BHW. Prepare your own list niche wise and surf the net for real guest blogs, you'll find real guest blogs for sure. Directly contact the webmaster and ask them for posting your article. Likewise do the same for all niches you look for and have a good contact with the bloggers, doing so you'll get real guest posts.

Though I haven't used, like anything else (here included), you have to sift through the bullshit.

This - indeed - is a very bad advice. This is the HQ of all the "guest blog scammers"

Yup, plenty of quality services running over BHW market place itself. As far as i know some services here providing real guest posts as promised. Do search and you will get good quality service for sure.

Time for a reality check. The "guest posting/guest blogging" services here are not that...the people providing them own the sites or they are in a "network" of sites they post on. I'm not saying they don't do the job...but to call them "guest posts" is like calling a McDonalds 99 cent cheeseburger a gourmet burger.

The sites exist to pass page rank. That is all. The content is crap, there is no "readership" like a "real" blog receives.

If you want guest posts you need to contact REAL site owners.

#1) Find sites that have good traffic and metrics

#2) Look for traditional contact info on the site

#3) Also check whois - you can sometimes find a better direct email

#4) Create a kick ass post - not spammy, not promotional, and not littered with shitty links

#5) Put together a complete package for the site

#6) Reach out

#7) Follow up

Also, a $5 article isn't going to cut it. REAL sites will laugh. Businesses pay HUNDREDS of dollars for "guest posts" to be written by professional writers.

A reason why a REAL guest posting service doesn't exist is because of the work it involves. All that work to give someone else a link? Keep it for yourself.

Here is a bakers dozen - links all obtained through REAL guest posting - real sites - crazy high PR....and nice DA/PA:

You don't get these through a "guest posting service" - you get these by working like an animal.
