Do proxies affect captchas? I’ve noticed that with certain proxies, I get way more captcha challenges than usual. Is there a way to reduce this, or does it depend on the proxy provider?

Yeah, proxies can definitely affect captchas. If the proxy you’re using has been abused before or is on a blacklist, you’re more likely to trigger captchas.
That makes sense. So it’s all about finding ‘clean’ proxies, right? But how do you know if a proxy is flagged?

Yes, proxies can affect captchas. Certain proxies, especially those that are heavily used or flagged by websites, are more likely to trigger captcha challenges.

There are tools that can help check if a proxy is blacklisted or linked to suspicious activity. I’ve been using one recently to test my proxies before using them for tasks.
Interesting. What kind of tests does it run?

Yes proxies do affect captcha behaviour and how how ofter you're asked to solve them

best ways to reduce captcha frequency is to use high quality proxies and avoid overusing proxies.

It checks for blacklist status, DNS leaks, and other factors that might cause captchas or bans. It’s saved me a ton of headaches, especially when regging accounts or scraping.
Sounds super useful. What’s the tool called?

It is possible. The proxies were you see more captchas are those which are already abused a lot.

It’s called IPFighter
This account shills IPFighter in every post.

But OP, proxies definitely effect captchas. If you're using good residential proxies you shouldn't face many captchas but if you're using abused proxies you'll face them a lot

Yes, it's possible, especially with low quality proxies that have been flagged before

Definitely it affects and can trigger them by affecting your online anonymity and fraud score.

If the proxy you're using is low quality it'll probably trigger ccaptchas since websites will be sussing them out and "onto them". Shouldn't be an issue when using a higher quality proxy.

Absolutely, proxies do play a role in how often CAPTCHAs pop up, but let’s not forget that websites look at way more signals to determine if it’s a human or a bot on the other end. Things like user agents and browser fingerprints are major factors. And the more aggressively you scrape, the more likely you’ll draw attention from the site.

If you’re swapping proxies, make sure to rotate your user agents and fingerprints too. Quality fingerprints, just like quality proxies, aren’t free—you usually have to buy them. At the end of the day, it comes down to the cost-benefit analysis: what’s more economical for your setup? Investing in better proxies or focusing on CAPTCHA-solving solutions?

About the sneaky advertising from some people in these discussions—why spam like that? It’s so transparent and only creates negativity. Wouldn’t it be better to just offer quality services and let that speak for itself? People appreciate honesty way more than cheap tricks.

It depends on the quality of your proxies. You can change the proxy provider if you notice any problems.

it can affect but it also depends on the website, if you are sending to many request, if is a new IP, a old IP that is returning again after a long time, log in and log out multiple times, too many actions in or clicks per seconds, is about testing and fiding what it work best for you.

Yes, proxies can impact captcha frequency, especially if they're flagged or shared proxies. Switching to high-quality residential or private proxies can help reduce captcha challenges.
