Do premium domains with short length rank easily or is it just a myth?

If you own finance . com for example the type in traffic alone is going to help you rank surely?
Branding on Social Media with the above domain is going to drive traffic / produce Social Signals
Screams authority which will help with backlinks (depending on content)
Probably quite a few other reasons, but I'm not an expert.....

I'd say yes, but a lot of what is called a "premium domain" is not

As @MrApple said, you will probably be seen as more authoritative and attract backlinks and social signals, but I don't think the domain name itself will impact the SERPs. Maybe if it's a keyword, it could probably be as effective as EMD domains used to be.

Facebook.com or Google.com would mean absolutely nothing if they were available today and those companies didn't exist. Unless you have a million (or billion) dollar business idea I wouldn't waste my money on acquiring such domains. Or, if you've found a great short .com domain and want to hold on to it until a business buys it for seven figures. I don't think any 2-6 character .com domains are available for registration today.

A premium domain can provide certain advantages in terms of branding, but still, the answer to your question is the same as with every other domain.

How much we put an effort into it...

It 'can be a valuable piece of the puzzle', but it's just one piece among many in the complex world of SEO.

Yea it will help most if you have an exact match domain for ranking. A 4-5 letter domain that makes no sense will not get a ranking boost most likely.

Otherwise I think you have to fight the same battle as everything else in the seo world.

No, they don't rank easily on account of being premium domain. But since they're often made of very easy to remember English words, sometimes a single word. You stand a chance to get good traffic without working hard for it.

It also helps your business brand itself.

It's too hard and i love this idea if it's possible.
How it will grow up my link after the?

0 value in terms of SEO,
no links, history, content & whatever...

these can be only good for branding,
idk why people are still buying such domains anyway,
you just need a short, unique and easy to remember domain for a good brand, there's not need for premium ones

Well Google said multiple times that domain extension nor name doesn't affect SEO performance, there has been a leak of Yandex algorithim that clearly shows that domain lenght and name did affect performance (just to clarify it's similar to Google), so maybe you can get boost with other search engines.

Having search keyword in the domain, I would say it depends, as it just draws more click naturally, as people may find it more interesting.

I had domains ranking for certaing keywords that had given keyword in name, but I cannot really tell that it was performing "better" compared to other websites without given search keyword.

They'll make you $$$ if someone is interested in buying it for branding.

It depends on how you define premium domain.

If you're looking for an easy-to-remember domain name that is worth a lot of money among domain parkers, that's one thing.

But if you define domains as previously registered and built-out domain names, it's too close to call.

If you're just using that domain to benefit from its SEO equity, Google is on the record as cracking down on that kind of practice.

You might want to shy away from that.

But if you're looking to use a premium domain that is short, easy to remember, and can easily be tied to the niche that you are targeting, you may be able to pull it off.

Of course, the other variables that you need to look at are the quality of the content as well as the experience that people get when they visit your website.

Thankfully, these are well within your control.

It's probably been noted already, but the answer is yes and no. It mostly depends on the keywords... but again... there are times when it doesn't. Premium one word .com's will rank especially if product related and people are actually searching to buy. However, if it is a very generic term it will take longer. Unless you build authority/SEO etc. etc.

Premium match domains always have a edge, but that wont give it authority alone

Yes, premium domains with short lengths can indeed make your life easier when it comes to ranking. But hold up, it's not just about the domain length alone. Let me explain.

A premium domain catches the eye of search engines because it often signifies credibility and authority. The length plays a role too. Shorter domains are easier to remember, type, and share. Plus, they tend to look cleaner in search results. So, yeah, they do have a slight edge.

But, Even with a premium, short domain, you still need quality content, solid SEO, and some good marketing hustle to improve those ranking charts.

Any aged domain with good link profile and indexed pages performs better than new ones.
Ranking which position and maintaining it depends on the niche and competitors.

A good domain name can brand itself and bring you free traffic.
If you own apple.com, your site will show high on top when people search for either iPhone or apple the fruit. And people will highly likely to click your site to see what it is about.
