Is a temporary effect or the rank remains?

Can you provide some example?
Personal one if you can, thank you.

Just learning SEO (a bit late, I always used paid traffic).

i had thought NO for long time, but started from this June, i found strong co-relation between SEM (PPC) and SEO on Google.
One of my client, the days they paid for SEM (PPC), the ranking of target KWs higher in those days, slightly higher.

What I tell you is that if you struggle with indexing a page, just push the ads for it, and it will be indexed very fast. Tested.

No and yes at the same time. I don't think they have a direct affect on your organic listings as such. However if you are advertising via PPC you will naturally be getting more traffic and brand searches will increase when people then look for you a second, third, forth time which will then help your rankings.

Straight up, PPC won't directly boost your organic rankings. They're separate entities. However, there's a side effect: increased visibility from ads can lead to more branded searches, which can indirectly influence organic rank.

Yes, paid is paid, and organic is organic, but..paid does support organic. There is a lot of information about this online.

As a side note: I believe that Google Ads supports organic in a way that other paid media sources will not.

ie: If you were to run a paid media campaign on another platform it will not pass as much juice to organic traffic as it would if it was a paid campaign by Google.
