I don't mean when people steal a million, but when they steal $100-$1000.Can I write a complaint against them?

I think NO you can't write any report, you've to identify whom you transferring your crypto to just like how you analyze the shitcoins before investing on them

What does that have to do with it? My account was hacked and all the money was transferred to the scammer's account

Honestly, I don't think so.
The scammers that work under the radar by stealing small amounts usually manage to work for years without being interrupted

There's no regulation so there's no protection. That's crypto for ya. While a crime is still a crime, good luck proving the wallet that stole from you and paying for someone to help you go after this person or individuals. Not to undermine or dimish your issue, but 100-$1000 ? Truth be told there are bigger fish to fry in crypto as far as theft is concerned and you're wasting your time writing a complaint on that sum of money.

Not bashing you on this at all just letting you know that in this instance.. learn from the experience and protect yourself as much as possible by safeguarding your assets moving forward if you intend to continue on in crypto.

Do you know who stole your crypto? Like The person behind that wallet. If you know, you can, if you can prove the wallet belongs to him.

Yes, 100% going to jail if the wallet can be connected to a person. So if the thief goes to an exchange or website that requires KYC => jail

If the person is in your area and you have proof, police may help. It will work in countries like USA only where people are aware of crypto.

You can file a police report. Whether they'll catch the scammer is a different thing.

If they are caught and you have proofs, it can happen. But generally it is hard to catch someone with crypto related crimes.

In crypto , yes, for theft , sometimes people do get caught, especially if any of that passes through any KYC platforms. There are many ways to track where stolen crypto has gone, has mixed, etc.

If someone has used a mixer, very hard to trace.
