I have not tried this over 2 years; but before i had great success with them. in particular helping to add juice to my tier 1 backlinks.

To add more to this topic: I would not rely on PDF backlinks alone because PDF backlinks are only a very small fraction of an average backlink profile. Adding few PDF backlinks to tier 1 sites sounds reasonable to me.

I will go with Yes, PDF file Backlinks boost rankings.
Out there you can find a lot of PDF submission sites with do-follow backlinks and also high DA PA.
 
I haven’t done this in quite a while, but people used to do this back in the day. Don’t know if it’s still working though
 
I think it can boost ranking. Google think it as a vital part of your site and crawl them. You are also more likely to increase your rankings and gain link authority when you link to relevant content from within your PDF.
 
PDF file backlinks definitely increase your domain authority and boost your ranking and ultimately your traffic will increase and that will lead you to make more money.
 
Yes PDF submission Backlinks has increase Domain Authority (DA) rank well, and make sure as Niche links that's worth on it.

Last time I checked this "backlinks" were getting harder to index. So check what's the situation with that.

If you choose the right site they will have an effect, not much though (that I've experienced). If you find a decent site (there's plenty recommended on this forum) id go for it, but I wouldn't focus too deeply on this.

Not only PDF Backlinks, Even DOC, PPT Backlinks can be also positive impact in improving authority level

A single type of PDF backlinks will not make your site highly effective. But diversified backlinks will definitely work if created from a high authoritative site.

Well, No one knows the complicated algorithm of Google.

I have tried the research about this and found that it really has minimum positive impacts. But it doesn't get as much more as you think.
