I have tried it they work. But just like other kinds of links, PBNs would not do any magic on your site if your site itself is not ready to rank.
BTW, not all kinds of PBNs, definitely not the ones with gazillions of outbound links.

Good quality, authoritative PBNs do currently have a positive impact on search engine rankings. Ofcourse, for search engine rankings other factors also do matter.

I've used and still using and will build more and more of them in the future,
Just stay away from $1-10 PBN posts if you're targeting your money site, most of them are trash,
Focus in learning and investing on your own PBN, pay someone to do so, or pay for high quality limited OBL ones, preferably the rented out
Good ones do work.

Bought right here on the forum. But I'm not sure I'm allowed to promote any service in a thread like this. Do your own research yourself and ensure it's a homepage PBN rental.

They work really well if they are done correctly. However, some are not done correctly. They are too expensive for the gamble imo and researching their quality is tough since they are not crawlable.

I've never been able to calculate the value of a link. Especially in comparing a sole obl from your own pbn (including the ongoing costs and maintenance), versus buying high level media/pr outreach links.

PBNs still work, but be aware of cheap link farms. Choose the one that available at a monthly subscription.
