PBN's built and hosted so they don't look like PBN's are still working.
You need to get domains that were used by non internet marketers previously so you can rebuild their old site from archive thus having a unique layout and unique website that doesn't look like a PBN site.

Of course they do. Just take a look at 10-15 money KWs, see who ranks, and I bet at least a few of those won't even have their PBN links hidden

Of course they do! The problem is people perception of "private"... most networks are actually public blog networks not private because their owners are either selling slots on them or simply can't set them up correctly and they stick out like a sore thumb to Google!

Well, they only say SEO is dead is because the old ways are no longer useful. SEO is alive and kicking! It is not dead. It has just changed. Only those who say SEO is dead are those who either have failed to adapt or were unable to move on.
