What are your views on PBN's?
Do they still work? If they do, is it good ROI still to focus on creating PBN vs Posting Authority Content in your Main Site?

I've heard mixed views. And I DO see some threads in BHW Sales areas where they have "strong PBNs" which means the regular PBN which most build may not work?

Let me know your thoughts (considering latest google updates)

Why don't you try PBN's and then share your experience?
they might work... it depends on how you define PBN... if you're talking about PBN's in the market place on this forum then NO, 95% are so crap and they are not worth a penny.

They work, if set up correctly. Most PBN providers have obvious footprints and poor metrics.

When you say, "do they still work", are you asking, do they bring $$$$$$$$$$$ in?
In this day in age, I would think no. Unless you have a "strong PBN", then you might have a chance :P

Yeah, they still work, if you put the time into creating them properly.

If they work? Does anything else would be the proper question I guess :P

Having your own pbn is probably the best seo investment you could do right now and for the future.

Because it's a bit hard to create your own pbn, you can use some of the services here on Black hat World. Some of them can bring you amazing results!

PBNs will always work

Hmm I am not sure tbh. G will get smarter and more advanced algorithms which will mean spotting which domains have been dropped (even if it means creating a huge db if they have to) and repurposed to harvest authority.

So it may last for a while until the next big algo update hits. Once it does those who "truly" know their stuff will put a spin on PBN's and keep it in a closed circle. Same thing has happened with SAPE.

PBNs as most people do them aren't future proof but I'd imagine it will be a LONG time before Google can do anything about it.

I know a very successful SEO agency in my city uses PBNs. The content is junk, the designs look like junk, and it still pushes rank.

It honestly depends on how you build the PBN, or from whom you buy the PBN. There are ones that are effective and even more that are complete shit.
There is a lot of grey area, but in general, yes, PBNs are still effective.

PBN's, in general, do absolutely NOT give the same gains that they once did. The worst hit are the quickly made cheapo PBNs. I used to cheaply rank of just a dozen or so quickly made template PBNs with no problem. Now they don't even make a dent. PBNs seem to require more authority and quality content these days. So in order to make them work it costs more. And the days of BUYING cheapo PBN links are soon coming to an end all together IMO. It reminds me of when social bookmarks were all the fad back in 2010. They stopped being able to rank anything alone and people's answer was to just use MORE or to just use the BEST ones. Well... how well did that turn out, huh?

If you're doing PBNs pump them FULL of authority and do NOT spam them.

PBNs still working well and great.

Those that say NO probably have weak PBN, leaving some kind of footprint, are not using it right, etc.

I think most of those that sell PBN services can not gusrantee the links will stay live or they compromise on obls. This causes rankings to die.

Sure they work, and when P=Private then your rankings last long.

PBN only works if done properly. If not, then it is just crap and useless.

People been saying SEO is dead for several years now while I still rank sites in medium competitive niches with spun content + Scrapebox/Xrumer.
