I’ve heard a lot about this too, but do you know why older accounts deliver ads more consistently? It is because finding established ad accounts with a spending history is difficult, and they certainly don't come cheap.
Thanks for your feedback. Facebook is currently sweeping a large number of new accounts, resulting in their complete deactivation; however, a few older accounts are still surviving.
I am running casino ads, so beyond campaign performance, account longevity is a major concern. I am very interested to know: are long-standing accounts actually better?
In my opinion, older accounts are better than new ones because they are less likely to get disabled for no reason. During Facebook’s recent sweep, a ton of accounts got wiped out.
For Facebook advertising accounts, age doesn't really matter, trust me. That's just a rumor that's been around for years; Facebook has updated it a lot now.
Yes they do matter on this basis, aged ad accounts have lesser restrictions on ads approval, given that the account has done multiple ads over the years, Meta algorithm won't be so strict in reviewing the ad as it'll be on a new ad account.
Account history has been known to work as an advantage at times but this is definitelly not a guaranted one. The management of the account as well as the performance of the campaigns themselves play a great role in that. account age often becomes less important than testiing nd making adjustments.

That’s right; I’ve noticed they get approved very quickly by Facebook and come with high spending limits. However, their ad delivery performance remains a question mark, as opinions on the matter vary. But do you think they’ll last longer than new accounts?
I think account age matters a little, but campaign setup and optimization matter much more.
