Do not support go daddy!

I seen the 1.48 domain promotion a few minutes ago, then I went through with the check out and the price remained the same. So I made a call to them waited 10 minutes to get through then the fat bitch made a claim that she cannot see the promotion hereself. So I was forced to send her 2 screenshots of the promotion because her eyelids were too fat and heavy to give her the ability to see it. She then reviewed them and said I was right, but she couldnt do anything about it. Soooo why wasnt the promotion removed if its no longer available?

its sickening this company got as big as it did.

i will transfer all my domain names and hosting as soon as they expire.

We all know that godaddy is who they are... if you go to 1and1, plan on everything being in slow motion. I have both godaddy and 1and1 domains and they both have flaws as does probably every other company out there.

Don't hate on godaddy! I got 6creditcards, and every month Im able to register that way 6domains for those $1 promotion! saves a small fortune

For the most part I dont have much to complain about with GoDaddy, but at times I do get frustrated.

I bought 3 domains at auction, the first one I bought was discounted to $5, yet, when you go to check out, that is the discounted auction fee, you still have to pay a domain registration fee. Then you cant use discount codes. After buying the one, later on I bought two more knowing a little more what I was getting into, I did not buy discounted ones this time, but on checkout, still no discounts but also the registration fees were different for each domain.

On top of that, they are always trying to tag more crap onto your order.

Now, to top all that off, you dont get your domains right away, they are auction off domains that they dont possess, they have to wait out the claim period. So, they got your money, they can continue to promote their crap on your domain, and if at worst for them, they get the original domain owners to come late and get it back.

Just a bunch of BS. I am sure this is not a GD problem though.

I should also add, I was able to use my affiliate link to get some money back. I know they discourage against that, but my excuse is, I visit all my affiliate links to make sure they are working, if I then go buy something later, that is not my fault they dropped a cookie on my computer. The sad part about that is that I was soooo excited I got a commission, best feeling in the world, then to find out it is your own, that sucks, till you come to grips you did save some cash.

Stay away from 1and1 and Godaddy. My two cents I use Moniker cheap renewals and VERY secure

Godaddy sucks and are totally blackhat unfriendly. They will seize your domains on unsubstantiated spam complaints. Avoid like the plague. They might be cheap but you won't make a cent if they take your domains away from you.

I use to use namecheap, but recently shift over to godaddy because it's cheaper when using the coupon with godaddy.

Here's the deal: GoDaddy is reputable and honestly probably the best registrar in terms of price and reputation, but you do need to be careful of their tricky marketing tactics, and make sure you're only purchasing what you need.
