Do Not Call Registry List, where to get?

Does anybody know where I can get a list of do not call phone numbers for the US? Is there a list I can download from somewhere?

lol I would hope not. On a side note, does cold calling people really work? Just an open ended question.

its actually for something I just want to test out, I dont plan on making any calls. I looked at that link, but its like 16k to get a list of US numbers just hoping somebody knew of a source for this list.
And as far as cold calling still working? I do know a company doing robocall b2b calling which is hit or miss, they get alot of pissed off people. Financial/ credit products I have seen make some people millionaires especially when ordering lists from the credit bureaus based on your core demographic. The best way tho seems to be facebook campaigns to landers then call on those numbers, that way you dont have to deal with the DNL cuz they requested service. Tho Im in florida and the barrier to entry is pretty stiff now that all telemarketing companies have to register with the state and that is like 50k and then license each one of your employees. With the high turnover it is difficult to stock a room and they cant have certain criminal offenses which is the majority of people that get into telemarketing. That said there are still tons of job postings in energy and interviewed at a couple doing lifealert type products. But telemarketing is not my game, I just want a large list of numbers

You would get the same kind of results as sending mass spam emails, you have to do a lot if you are cold calling just a bunch of phone numbers with no reason to expect they would have any interest in what you have to offer.
