HiI was analysing few expired domains on ahrefs and found few which have old (2006-2008) backlinks from high pr pages of big news websites. The links are coming from comments section. Lets say the OBL of the pages from where backlink is coming is less than 30 and there are no spam comments on page. Will these expired domains be worth buying ? Do the links from comment carry same value as a contextual link?

I don't know how much, but they will definitely pass juice/authority if they are do follow

It's a definitely a good sign, but check anchor urls and texts. And keep in mind that only two links from one website give value
