Do non-HR views help at all?

Do non-HR views help YT videos at all aside from the counter? and/or would they negatively impact the video?

Best case scenario, non-hr views will not affect your video at all. Worst (and most likely) case scenario, they will have a negative impact, just like google downranks sites with a high bounce rate
