I'm working on a package to sell to local clients and was wondering if most businesses already have a google place listings?

not really , you can check the business info if they have listing on the map by Phone searching

HI candybar..we have a local directory..will pay 10% of signup on recurring basis if you refer them..

Many of them have the google page but it is usually not optimized.

No one wants just this service in my experience.
