How much weight do mobile views have on your rankings with youtube videos? is it worth it?

If you can send the mobile views from usa targeted then it will help you to get some good rank .

Thanks because im using SYV and apparently the normal youtube views are not working at the moment

Google knows about mobile views, they just can't add too many security features and mobiles do not have high speed or reliable internet.

How do mobile view increase ranking? I thought they hurt your ranking because it's not watched all the way?

A visit and a view is a view, g spider look at visits and time spent on site, no matter if mobile or from home

They don't hurt ranking... that's a myth.

The second I uploaded it, I immediately put 100,000 mobile views on a cool, violent video from a very popular video game, this was nearly a year ago and it has not received any natural views at all. It is still at 100,002 views. I don't understand.

Well it doesn't look like mobile views increase ranking. So what do they do exactly? or is it because the retention rate is so low on mobile views?

There's a combination of a lot of things if you want to rank your YouTube video. It doesn't matter if it's coming from mobile really (as long as they aren't spammed out from China/Russia) but the views also need high retention.

Mobile views can definitely help with ranking.

Thing is though, they have to be high retention. I've seen videos shoot up from page 5+ to page 1 in a matter of days after receiving quality mobile retention views.

I've also personally done experiments with these and have found videos to jump to #1 on both Google as well as YouTube for their main (and not easy) keywords.

So in short, your video won't get banned and you stand a pretty good chance (although nothing in the world of IM is guaranteed that your video will rank better.
