Do micro niche sites still work in 2016?

Hi everyone .I've recently joined BHW forum in the pursuit of IM and have read many articles .

Lets get to the point.

My story:I've made a MNS related to health niche in DEC 15 end,before knowing BHW and what to say ?I made a mistake while choosing keywords because when searching for the keyword in Google ,it will show most of the results as authority sites(Authoritynutrition,webmd,livestrong,organicfacts etc.) on the first page .My website currently has 5 posts and zero traffic even though all the links are indexed.It is not ranking anywhere in the top 10 pages .

The mistake I made was not checking the first SERP. During keyword research I just saw the low comp keywords and 1.5$ish CPC and around 1-5 million search results.I feel like an idiot right now.

I wanted to clarify a few doubts about Micro niche sites.(Not in context with my website,I want to know in general)

-Do they still work in 2016? If yes then

-What is the average time required to start seeing your income?

-How many articles are required to rank your site in the SERPs?.(I know there are many sellers here on this forum offering MNS packages with 2 or 3 articles.)

-Besides adsense what are the alternative monetization options ?

-(Ultra noob question) Why are keywords with high competition and high search volume generally not chosen when building an adsense monetized MNS?

-Is it possible for a MNS to outrank an authority site for the 1st rank or atleast 2nd or 3rd?

-How many backlinks on an average are required to have your site ranking on the first page?

-What are the valuable investments for MNS? besides domain and hosting

The guys who are making lots of money with micro niche sites will be very happy to tell you that they dont work anymore.

yes it does work! one of my microniche site in health niche is constantly generating good revenue from last 2 years till today

You won't make a single worthwhile cent with either MNS, affiliate or authority sites if you choose the wrong keywords.

There are several keyword sellers on BHW marketplace to suit all budgets or you can buy a MNS site off here with keyword research included.

Micro Niche websites still work. The mistakes most people make is choosing the wrong keyword. I too made this mistake when starting out.
Just to add, i recently started a Journey thread on how am going to build a micro niche site from scratch. It can be done by anyone who is willing to work.

Yes.

I am pretty sure it depend's on the nich competition. If you find a good Kw/NIche with no/low competition, and make some good SEO, in 2-3 months you will have some income, and in 6 months you will have a nice income. (Depends on Niche)

1 article per Kw. is the best, other articles are ther just... to fill the space.

Depends on niche again, you can have an Adsense targeted Niche, or an Amazon targeted niche (you target products, not information), or maybe a CPA niche.

A KW with high competition means a competition that many website developers are aiming to rank for. So, it will be harder for you to rank for them. (if not impossible).
And usually high search volume means high competition. But not always, that's why there are BSTs selling Keywords (Search for Ste's or Jared's (closed) BST to gain an idea about high volume/no comp keywords).


-Is it possible for a MNS to outrank an authority site for the 1st rank or atleast 2nd or 3rd?
Yes, ofcourse, if the authority is not targeting that KW, and has no backlinks, with good on-page SEO (search for Royserpa's guide), you will outrank without many problems.
BUUT you need to do propper KW research. You can't outrank targetting any Kw, you need a Kw that is not targetted specifically by those authority websites, and google poots them in the first page just because someone has to rank.

Check the competition for your Kw, and you can get an idea.
the best answer here will be: More than your competitors.

Yes MNS still work, you just have to pick the right keywords.

Yep, the trick is to dig a lot and find those low hanging fruit in long tail keywords. Decent search volume and low competition.

Yes, Micro niche sites still working. Please don't forget to choose perfect keywords. Few years I started and still working. Walk in a right way you'll able to make more money. Thanks for presenting your question.

My keywords are long tail keywords only,4 letters.

Lol you posted it in the wrong thread.

Ofcourse that it works, is it easy as 10 years ago? NO, but you can make 1K/ a month with microniche site. Am I there yet? No, but I beleive in 6 months to a year I can break 1K with just one site.

Good luck, work smart and hard. Don't complain and sleep less if you're not satisfied with your current situation!

They still work. But require more work than they would have say 2 years ago. More people are equipped with the investment, the knowledge and the technical know how to do it. And the reason high competition high volume isn't chosen is for the same reason people would think twice about making a YouTube channel about video games. It's saturated to the point you will have to do some seriously unique shit to get the kind of returns you need.
